Erling Haaland has been at the top of discussions in the past few weeks due to his outstanding performances and his energetic character. Many head coaches from other teams are trying to find ways to stop him and the answer is YOU CAN’T.
Erling Haaland is a Norwegian soccer player who was born in Leeds England, his father was also a professional soccer player who was injured and returned to Norway with his family and trained his son to become a great player. Today he is a starting player for his new team, Manchester City in England, coming from the German team Borussia Dortmund. He has already scored many goals and is on track to becoming the next soccer superstar.
He has nineteen goals in only twelve games, averaging 1.58 goals per game, and has three hat-tricks. With incredible records such as this, it’s no surprise that he’s been getting so much recognition from coaches, teammates, and by everyone watching him. “He is a goal scorer, that’s for sure,” Patrick Vieira, the Crystal Palace coach, said. “Outstanding”, said David Moyes the coach for West Ham United in England. He is physically dominant over many, if not all, of his opponents, making it seem almost easy for him to score so many goals.
Erling Halaand is definitely starting to make a big name for himself, with some starting to compare him to the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo since they are both primary goal-scorers. Now that Ronaldo is getting older and is soon to retire, many say that Halaand will take his place, and his potential is definitely there and could even potentially surpass the greats like Ronaldo.
