From numbers and formulas to flying with the baseball dream, he is giving his all. He is a young, dedicated, and self-thriving gentleman, but who exactly is he? Let’s get the inside scoop from Mr. Muller himself as he discusses a little more about his life to us.
Mr. Muller introduces himself, “I am a first year faculty who teaches geometry and precalculus. I am also coaching 3rds basketball in the winter, and hopefully I can coach baseball in the spring”. This is his first year of being a part of the Frederick Gunn Community and he has already carried so many responsibilities upon his shoulders. Mr. Muller (who also goes by Mr. Luis) is by far the youngest teacher here at the Gunnery.
We asked, “Can you tell us more about your high school baseball life?”. He told us that he played outfield at positions such as left field and center field. He took part in multiple showcases which prove the potential he had with the sport he was so passionate about. Time went by rapidly and he reached the point where he had to make the one of the hardest decisions of his life between an academic scholarship or to follow his dream to play Division 3 at TCNJ.
“Why Gunn?”. As mentioned, he is young yet talented, so why did he choose Frederick Gunn to start with? It is plain to see that Gunn is a spectacular campus for the whole community to communicate and to make everlasting friends and memories. It truly is just that simple. Also he stated he loves to be busy all the time so this is the perfect place.
He already has had such a positive influence on all the students and staff on and off campus . He is aiming to be the best teacher possible which is a goal he is working on right now. “Let time answer all wonders” and let Mr. Muller be a force of the Frederick Gunn.
